PG32UCDP HDR Calibration Data

IWafflesI
Level 8

I just got my PG32UCDP and thought I’d share some settings and experiences in the hopes that i can help someone else someday. First and foremost, I thought my panel was broken because my image looked blown out in the highlights. I had calibrated and was switching between profiles not understanding why it didn’t look good. I wasn’t aware that you needed to use Windows HDR Calibration tool on every single HDR profile separately. Once I did that I’ve had a much better experience. You can switch between the profiles in Windows Display Settings. These are the calibrations I made for every profile on the monitor.

HDR Setting:

Gaming HDR - Min Lum: 0 Max Lum: 1400 Max FFL: 1400

Cinema HDR - Min Lum: 0 Max Lum: 1600 Max FFL: 1600

Console HDR - Min Lum: 0 Max Lum: 430 Max FFL: 430

DisplayHDR 400 True Black - Min Lum: 0 Max Lum: 430 Max FFL: 430

Console and True Black seem to have calibrated the same. I’m really liking the panel after getting everything working correctly. The only bug I’ve encountered is that my display port cable isn’t defaulting to 4k@240hz every time I boot windows. Switching to HDMI has corrected that problem though.
