Hi,
I would like to point out a problem with the PG32UCDM. I have issues with the image signal on several units of the PG32UCDM. A white artifact often appears on the screen for a brief moment (one second), which I suspect, depending on the refresh rate, either only appears in the top right corner (120Hz) or the entire lower half of the screen (240Hz). Sometimes the monitors lose the signal completely for a brief moment. As soon as the signal comes back, the Dolby Vision logo appears again in the top right. I have experienced the problem with 3 PG32UCDM units (MCM105 & MCM106 firmware). The issue occurs randomly on one screen at a time. The problem occurs with the cables that came with the monitors and also when AMD FreeSync is disabled.
A Reddit user also reports he has the same issue with his unit. I have attached a picture from the Reddit user that shows the glitch. The Reddit user reports that he is experiencing glitches via HDMI1. For me, the issue occurs via DisplayPort (I rarely use HDMI, so I can't say whether the isue also occurs with my PG32UCDMs via HDMI). Both I and the Reddit user have Dolby Vision enabled. I also had the issues before the Dolby Vision update (MCM105). My PG32UCDMs are connected to an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX via DisplayPort. The Reddit user connected his PG32UCDM to an Xbox Series X via HDMI.

I'm having the same issue with the Dolby Vision enabled. I'm using the included DisplayPort cable to connect with my Windows PC and the included USB-C for MacBook. The issue occurs only with Dolby Vision. Since MacBook doesn't support Dolby Vision on external displays my only source is my Windows PC(Nvidia drivers updated) for Dolby Vision content. On the other side HDR10 seems to work fine.

I updated to MCM108 and the flickering also occurs there when Dolby Vision is activated. As soon as I switch back to HDR10 the flickering stops.

I am having the same problem. my PG32UCDM is showing the static in the upper corner just like the original post. Very occasionally I will get a black screen for a second and then back. I am seeing nothing in my event history/reliability monitor. I am on MCM108 using Nvidia GPU.

In my case, it is noticeable that the black screen problem mainly occurs with the PG32UCDM, which is connected to the 2nd video output (recognized by Windows as Display 2). I also have another PG32UCDM connected to the 1st video output, and it currently only has the problem with static noise. Both video outputs are DisplayPort.

Update: Dolby Vision was causing the static in the upper corner for me. After changing my HDR from Dolby Vision to HDR10, the static in the upper corner stopped appearing. The black screen flickering happens very uncommonly so I will have to get back later.

Update on my part: I have been using one of my PG32UCDMs with a MacBook Pro M1 via USB-C for the last few days. The static problem did not occur there. Since the pure desktop environment of macOS does not support HDR, HDR was disabled according to the monitor OSD. I have now reconnected my PG32UCDM to my RX 7900 XTX and due to AMD Eyefinity HDR was also disabled there (HDR Off was also displayed in the monitor OSD), but the static problem is currently occurring there. Monitor runs at 120Hz due to Eyefinity. Firmware is MCM108.
I'm no longer sure if the problem is really due to Dolby Vision as currently suspected. I still think I remember that the static problem occurred before the DV update was even released, but I don't want to present it as fact now as I'm not 100% sure.
Update: A few days ago, I added another PG32UCDM to my setup, this one is connected to the RX 7900 XTX with the included USB-C cable, DolbyVision was activated as HDR mode in the monitor OSD, but in the information bar at the top the HDR mode was HDR (Console HDR), i.e. HDR10. This unit also has the problem with the static noise in the top right corner and black screens (monitor runs at 120Hz due to bandwidth limitation). The monitor was delivered with firmware MCM105, which is why I assume that the monitor comes from a relatively recent batch.

I am having a similar issue. I get these white lines flickering across the screen then the screen goes black. It doesnt reconnect until i manually power off the monitor and power it back on.
It seems as though its related to windows HDR. If I press win + alt + b (the hotkey for toggling HDR) the monitor reconnects. But only temporarily.
This happens almost constantly.
Im running the latest drivers and firmware (108).
I honestly have no idea what to do now. I no longer have the box for the monitor so I cant really return it to amazon.

I've had this monitor pretty much since release and I also can confirm with Dolby Vision Enable I get that flicker anytime I expand any window on my PC. I thought we would have a resolution to this issue at this point. Admin please direct this to the right people. This happens with DP cable or HDMI with Dolby Vision Enabled. I am currently on the latest firmware MCM108
