PG32UCDM - TEST MODE

RonyFleurDePaix

I did a RMA for dead pixels, just received a replacement, but the first time i pluged the power cable, the screen was flashing in red/green/white color. I guess they just tested the screen and let it in test mode.

When i had that, i just power off and power back with the button and it was gone, but there is a lot of people on reddit that been blocked on this ''test mode'' or have it back later. I just wondering how can avoid that ? Is it normal that they didn't put it back on ''normal mode'' ? Whats the manipulation to go on/back of this mode ? Can it come back ? do i have to unplug/plug cable just to be sure or is fine ?

Hi @RonyFleurDePaix ,

"Test mode" is typically a factory testing function for monitors, used to check the panel condition.

If you encounter this issue, we recommend trying the following methods:

  • Press and hold the physical left button and power button while the AC is off until the screen lights up.
  • Additionally, you can restore the monitor to its factory settings.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you.
