PG32UCDM stuck on 120hz instead of the full 240hz

In my windows display settings and nvidia control panel, I don't even get a 240hz option, I have been stuck on 120hz since I got this monitor. Has anyone else experienced this? I've updated firmware/drivers, used the furthest Display Port from the PCIe slot, etc. and nothing works. Ive read every forum post on reddit and this forum about other people unable to resolve this issue, and they have better GPU's than me. Ive tried all of their suggestions with no luck. Im using the cables that came with the monitor, and for a $1300 product, Im quite disappointed that Im required to troubleshoot this issue and it's not an easy fix. Has anyone been able to resolve this? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @erik0298 ,

Thank you for contacting us.

Regarding the refresh rate issue, we recommend that you first refer to the "3.6 Supported operating modes" in the following link: ASUS_PG32UCDM_UM_English.pdf

Please carefully check the selected mode to ensure that the corresponding refresh rate is indeed 240Hz and the related timing settings are correct.

Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

I have two PG32UCDM monitors running and windows puts one at 240 and the other at 120.  I usually have to toggle the HDR modes in the monitor widget to get windows to detect 240 on the primary. For example, switch from one of the HDR10+ modes to a Dolby Vision mode.  Windows then takes another minute and 4 monitor on/off cycles to right itself.  Highly annoying.  Any reason it won't boot both to 240 consistently?
