PG32UCDM screen goes back randomly

So for the second time in the 25 days I've owned this monitor, the screen has, mid game, gone black, and unresponsive to all input, including the monitor buttons. I can only turn it back on by unplugging the power and back in. 

I have done the following

Reset to factory

Installed newest firmware

Switched to a more expensive DP1.4 cable

Turned off proximity 

Made sure DCS is off.

None of these have fixed the issue. And I just hear my computer running just fine with the black screen. Again if I unplug it and replug the power of the monitor, it continues just fine, but this is not the QC I expect form a $1000 monitor, I might just return this thing tomorrow and be done.
