Hi
I would like to ask if this is a normal situation with the new monitor I have. The light on the base and on the back stays on after shutting down the PC, will this turn off on its own after a few minutes?

Hi @Kimbaduds ,
thank you for your inquiry.
Based on the issue you described, we need to gather some additional details to assist you further.
First, please confirm if your monitor firmware has been updated to the latest version.
Additionally, you mentioned that the ambient lighting on the monitor remains on when it's turned off.
Did you manually turn off the monitor? Please describe the color of the indicator light on the monitor at that time.
If you turn on the monitor again, does the light continue to stay on?
Also, please let us know what type of signal cable you are using to connect the monitor.
If possible, please provide a short video of the issue occurring for reference, in MP4 format.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi
Yes, it is updated to the latest firmware.
When i shutdown the pc, the light in motion and the rog logo on the back stays on even more than 1 hour. I need to power off the monitor manually to turn them off. Is this supposed to be normal?

Yeah, that's the observed behavior on firmwares 102, 302 and 103, it was introduced as a "fix" for an issue in 101/301 that impeded the lighting on the stand from recovering from stand-by (which also affected the RGB logo on the back). Ideally both the stand and back lighting should turn off in standby and back on when the display wakes, but currently if you have the stand lit up neither it nor the back will turn off in standby. If you disable LIGHT IN MOTION in the OSD though, the RGB on the back will turn off in standby but won't recover unless the display is powercycled or LIGHT IN MOTION is switched on.
