Good afternoon, I have had the monitor for 15 days and I have seen that several people report the same error on Reddit that I am suffering from.
When the monitor is connected through dp 1.4, it always starts windows at 120hz and 240hz is not available, but if you deactivate vrr and activate it again, 240hz appears again.
With HDMI 2.1 this does not happen.
I hope Asus takes note and releases a new firmware, because I have 30 days to return the monitor.
The display widget center app does not recognize the monitor through HDMI, only through DP.

But i have another trooble ! The monitor goes from 240hz to 120hz for no particular reason at times...
Please, update this great monitor Asus 🙂

Same for me. At some point (exact cause undetermined so I don't know if it's random at this time) the monitor will switch to 120Hz and the 240Hz option disappears. As the OP says, the only way I have found to force the 240Hz option to reappear is to switch off VRR and then re-enable it.

Hi guys, I'm talking to Asus after-sales service at the moment and we might have a lead.
This remains to be confirmed but it could be a conflict with another screen (dual monitor), for example mine is an Asus PG278QR at 165hz with the native Gync, and when this is turned off when Windows starts the PG32UCDM goes well at 240hz.

Well, it could be because my configuration is 3 monitors. xg279q pg27aqdm pg32ucdm but through HDMI this error does not occur.
