(PG32UCDM) Please atleast fix this 4 issues!

For reference this is my setup: Windows 11 23h2 ( not 24h2 because the problems are far worse there, that's why i downgrade), Gpu: ROG Strix GeForce RTX™ 4090 OC, Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB Ram 3600mhz.

-VRR/Gsync not working properly: i can have a rock solid stable framerate between the G-sync Supported rate, and the refresh rate keeps jumping/bouncing to the max refresh rate constantly causing alot of VRR Flicker, even if i lock the fps via rivatuner.

-No signal after wakeup specially on windows 24h2, sometimes completely freezing my PC, and the only solution is restarting the PC from the PC tower.

-UCDP features, there's no reason why we don't have the UDCP VRR OLED Anti Flicker feature or Gameplus features.

- Overhauled HDR settings

Please we need a fix soon, it's been a long time from the last update!, and there's even more issues !

I agree with all you said.

Since I almost have the exact same setup and would like to ask you: if you change settings on the OSD, does the monitor save them? I have to redo all the settings for DolbyVision or HDR every time I restart the monitor. For example, it always resets back to "DolbyVision Bright" even though I picked "DolbyVision Gaming". Even the save function does not seem to be able to remember it when I make this change.

If I turn off the monitor, all the settings stay the same as I left them last time, both for HDR and Dolby Vision. You could use Asus DisplayWidget Center and Dolby Access in the meantime until they fix the issue, good luck 😊.

Thank you for the reply. I tried to play around with both programs for a few days and, try as I might, it just doesn't work for me. Every time I switch off the monitor, restart my PC, change from Windows to Mac (ie. Display Port to USB-C connection/cable) etc, the settings simply revert. The only things it remembers is Dolby Vision or HRD10, but none of the more granular settings. Even the save function under customized settings don't work. I cannot even click on anything in the DisplayWidget Center other than the Race and the AI options. The rest of the options are not clickable. It's very strange... I am on the latest firmware (welp, MCM105 that is).

Well, maybe I have to open another thread/support ticket...

27UCDM has been launched now, which is basically the same monitor as 27" size in which they have included many new features, like new OLED care, OLED Anti-flicker in it but no word on 32UCDM this is totally unfair. Asus no longer gives a sh**t about us. Better to avoid such a crap brand in the future. Asus literally wants us to get the cheaper variant of the same model for more advanced features and doesn't want to support expensive variants like UCDM it seems. Seriously IDK what's the logic behind this.

@Aureliannn_ROG need to answer for this.

It looks like it is time to go to the Trustpilot with all these stories on PG32UCDM and links to all of the topics here which are being ignored by support since August '24 I guess.

If it won't be any progress here I suppose for many of us PG32UCDM users (i.e. flagship buyers) it will be the last ASUS monitor. Such a shame.

Asus released a new firmware for this monitor, but it doesn't fix anything 😪 ...........

I already explain my issue above:

-VRR/Gsync is not working properly: i can have a rock solid stable framerate between the G-sync Supported rate, and the refresh rate keeps jumping/bouncing to the max refresh rate constantly causing alot of VRR Flicker, even if i lock the fps via rivatuner and my fps is not moving at all the monitor fps counter keeps showing that the FPS refreshrate is changing all the time.  Is not necessary to do a new post, i already explain this issue in this post, and this guy have the same issue https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-monitors/asus-rog-pg32ucdm-bug/m-p/1068841#M4704    (read the comments).
