PG32UCDM lighting effect is grayed out.

Hello, I have the PG32UCDM monitor and I want to turn on its rgb light on the back but I can't because the lighting effect settings in the osd are grayed out. Also it's not detected by armoury crate so I can control it's rgb light. I'm mounting it on an arm instead of its base/stand that came with it, I don't know if that's the problem. I hope someone can help. Thanks!

PS: I did connect it via usb 3.2 gen 1 to pc but nothing changed and the lighting effect is still grayed out...

Edit: I get to turn on its rgb light on the back (I updated it via armoury crate and I noticed that power saving is activated so  I switched it to standard mode) but the lighting effect in osd is still grayed out.

Hi @ghadycaracalla ,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To better understand the display Aura lighting effect-related issue you are experiencing, please provide us with the following information and perform the tests:

  1. Aura Sync setting confirmation: Have you enabled the Aura Sync function in the display's OSD menu? Please provide a screenshot of the setting page for our reference.
  2. Cable reconnection test: Please try reconnecting all cables connected to the display to confirm whether it is a cable connection issue.
  3. Previous setting confirmation: Were you able to set the Aura lighting effect normally before?
  4. Firmware and software confirmation: Is the current firmware version of your display the latest version? Please try using the Armoury Crate uninstall tool to completely remove the Armoury Crate software and reinstall it to confirm whether the problem is resolved.
  5. Problem video provision: If the problem persists after following the above steps, please record the process of the problem occurring and provide it to us in MP4 file format. At the same time, please record the Armoury Crate log for our confirmation.

The log files contain detailed information about the software's operation, which can help our backend team identify the issue.
Please ensure that the logs accurately capture the moment the issue occurs.

(Please enable logging, perform the problematic operation once, and then package the logs.)
Here are the steps to collect Armoury Crate log files: Please refer to Q5: What is APP Diagnostics? https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043747/#a14
After completing the above steps, please upload the collected log files to a cloud storage service and provide the link via private messege for our analysis.
Also, please provide your product serial number.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you.
