PG32UCDM LACK OF FIRMWARE & FALSE PROMISE

Where is the new firmware update with advanced HDR controls & Anti-OLED flicker and many other features for PG32UCDM as promised?? Almost 6 months of no new firmware meanwhile other models receiving every month once, So with this should we need to conclude that ASUS ditched UCDM model to boost up UCDP sales? Come on guys still it's not a cheap product anywhere it costs almost equally as much as high end PC. Is this the current state of ASUS support system? Seriously guys this is gonna be my last ASUS product. ASUS is nothing but a cash grab brand and that’s been proven once again.

I second that. It's truly about time for new firmware updates. Some of us have still some issues, like the super annoying black screen issue, which appears in games or/and on Desktop and there is total silence atm from the devs in the corresponding thread here. And also yes, it is a premium product and we all spent a lot of money and end up to have those issues and the lack of regular firmeware updates compared to other models are absolutely NOT acceptable.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

At least could you confirm whether any firmware for UCDM with UCDP features has been planned or not?? You had already confirmed it's under process but still not released yet. Try to provide an ETA for the firmware release. It's been a while since last firmware got released. Literally this model looks like an abandoned one prove us wrong. 

I feel you. Well, easy to see that this answer is basicly the same as before and vague is the word.

Maybe not abandoned but definitely lacking 'this year's flagship' support level.

 my friend just got the same monitor with newer firmware 106 and I can’t get it on the support page and can you tell me what improvements were made with this firmware please? Black screen issues resolved?

Somebody on the hardwareluxx forum also had one with MCM106 and he stated to me, that so far he has no black screen issues in SDR and HDR with his unit. Would be also interesting if the monitors with the newer firmware are probably a new revision?

 

This would be very important to know. Mine is still in a window to return and it had old firmware. The black screen issue effectively turns this monitor into 120Hz which is not what was sold (turn off DSC and it won't happen). I can wait a while for a firmware update if a solution is coming, but if for some reason there is two revisions of the monitor, then this one is going to be returned as defective and I'll need a working one with 106 firmware. Communication on this would be useful.
