PG32UCDM Console Mode HDR issue

My and other's PG32UCDM monitors have a clipping issue on PC when using the console HDR mode in Windows 11. Currently, the monitor clips at 450 nits in the Maximum Luminance window but it clips correctly in the Max Full Frame Luminance window. Is there a firmware update in the works for this or is this an RMA issue?

Thank you so much to Asus for this update.

I still have a question that haunts me.
I updated from 103 to 105 firmware
In Windows HDR Calibration my visual values to white sheet are in Gaming Mode and Console Mode 0/880/900

And in Console Mode with brightness enhancement
0/370/370

People write that their values visually reach 1000 nits.

Does this mean that there is something wrong with my monitor?

Or ignore the visual part and set the values to 0/1000/260
And this will be the only correct solution to my problem?

Then,

ConsoleHDR + brightness enhancement should have these values 0/500/260.

While without brightness enhancement, or in Gaming HDR mode(according to me and others the best) 0/1000/260
Same on Cinema HDR.

At the Full Frame screen, no matter what you see, you have to stop at 260, because beyond that value it won't go no matter what the Tool says.

Why you're seeing different values, I can't help you here, it could be that it's you not seeing the squares, or you're doing it where there's too much light in the room, I don't know how to help you.

Nope you are wrong here, with the calibration tool.

Sure you are right. Your "values" would be the real values the panel delivers!...

But, the monitors use "tone mappings".

Thats why you can see 1000nits in full screen.

And that is why you should set the calibration to 0. 1000. 1000.

The tone mapping of the nonitor it self does the 1000nits in full screen break down to tje 250 the panel can show.

The only mode that this does not work is

"Console mode" with boost on.

But is there even a need to use the calibration tool? The monitor already reports 1015nits in both Console without boost and Gaming modes.

Nope its not realy needed

Could somebody tell if Console (without boost) in MCM105 become much brighter then Console MCM103? I do really feel it, especially in Cyberpunk, but I can’t tell exactly as I don’t have tools to measure it

What do you guys set for your in-game brightness in Alan Wake 2 in HDR? Does it have to match the max screen brightness, so 260 nits?

The maximum brightness is 1000, not 260

Yep you are absolutely right, but that's only for the 2-5% window, isn't it? Thought that the game wanted you to match the setting to the maximum full screen brightness which is around 260 nits. I'm only speculating here and that's why I want people's opinions on it.
