PG32UCDM Console Mode HDR issue

FallenDeity

My and other's PG32UCDM monitors have a clipping issue on PC when using the console HDR mode in Windows 11. Currently, the monitor clips at 450 nits in the Maximum Luminance window but it clips correctly in the Max Full Frame Luminance window. Is there a firmware update in the works for this or is this an RMA issue?

What? Didn't they give a timeline? Scone said 3 to 4 weeks, we're still within that timeframe. You'd think people would at least wait 😂

I don't know if you've noticed but the new Firmware is downloadable from the monitor's website.

Just click on EXPAND ALL and look for PG32UCDM Firmware update MCM105

I don't see 105: https://imgur.com/FNY5iUm

I don't understand why the release date(2024/04/09) is wrong.

Anyway, downloaded!

Wow, everyone here waiting for an update and it was right there. Can anyone confirm if it works better? I’ve had this monitor for almost 4 months now and I’ve probably never used HDR because it’s so bad.

I need a few more hours to get back home and install it

Im about to install it, praying that they have actually fixed it this time.

Are you updating from 104 beta or 103
If I update from 104 beta, does it mean it will be the only firmware I can return to?

Yes,so it's better if you roll back to 103 and after update.

I first rolled back to 103, and then upgraded to 105.
