My and other's PG32UCDM monitors have a clipping issue on PC when using the console HDR mode in Windows 11. Currently, the monitor clips at 450 nits in the Maximum Luminance window but it clips correctly in the Max Full Frame Luminance window. Is there a firmware update in the works for this or is this an RMA issue?

Are they also going to fix the inaccurate EOTF tracking on 2% APL in this update?

After requesting an update, you can expect a firmware to drop sometime in the next 3 to 4 weeks. This update will also contain Dolby Vision support
Not trying to be pessimistic here - but here's a more realistic, less brown nosey take; That's not "great news" but the bare minimum that was promised. Since the release of this monitor they've stated that DV support would be released in the first half of 2024. The end of June is the latest they could've possibly released the DV firmware and technically not break their promise. 🙂
Also same thing was posted here two weeks ago - https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/1d145l7/asus_pg32ucdm_when_can_we_expect_the_dolby_vis...
Edit: It is however nice to get confirmation that the presumable HDR fix will for sure be included in the DV support FW update.

I have noticed that on YT while watching a video and scrolling the page, i.e. while the page is in motion, the video changes colour becoming more 'faded', as soon as I stop, the colours return to normal.
Is this by chance a setting of the OLED Care? Can anyone tell me anything? If not, I'll open a separate topic.
Thanks!

It's a browser issue. It happens on Chrome and can be worked around by disabling hardware acceleration or by changing the Chrome flag for Angled Graphics Backend.

Solved! Thank you very much indeed!
PS
is there a software you can use to find out how many nits the monitor uses in HDR? if so, what is it?

thank you for your inquiry.
We understand that you are interested in the release of the Dolby Vision feature.
Our backend team is working hard on it and we plan to release it in July 2024.
Please be patient and once it is released, we will inform you in this thread.
Thank you very much for your support and understanding.

@Silent_Scone Chinese page changed the DV release to Q3 2024, all other countries' pages still say 1H 2024.
I'd say that I'm surprised, but then I'd be lying.
