So i am having this issue since the day i bought the monitor.
At first it was happening during a certain game, the callisto protocol.
Now it is happening also in Destiny 2.
As i am playing these games with HDR on,after some time the screen goes black and i have to manually turn the monitor off and on again in order for the image to appear again.
I had at the beggining the factory firmware, after i updated to MCM102 and now i have the 103.
This issue seems to be consistent on all firmwares.
I know it is not related to my windows setup because on the same pc with a different monitor this does not happen.
I have my pg32ucdm connected via dp.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated!!

I'd be curious if the people experiencing black screens are using custom colour settings in their graphics drivers or keeping things default.
Only throwing it out their because the signal issues i had on another Asus OLED have mostly been resolved since i stopped forcing 10-bit color in the Nvidia Control Panel.

My problems mainly started when i bought the Asus X870 motherboard and the AMD 9800X3D. I returned my monitor but still following this thread to see if some miracle happens...

It has nothing to do with your equipment. Try another monitor and you will see you will not have an issue. Never had any blackscreens on AW neither other test monitors. It's the ****** monitor.. the backscreens will randomly happen, I am 99% sure it has to do with too much power. Never happens to me in idle or browser.

You are wrong my friends.
This is an issues accross all qd-oled and is very well documented see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/1h0hahd/are_all_recent_oleds_plagued_by_the_black_scre...

Ya definitely seems like its all these Gen 3 OLEDs regardless of the company selling them. Im gonna wait and see what 4th Gen brings to the table.

From what I have gathered so far the issues seems to be related to VRR. At least everything explained in this blurbuster post points in that direction: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?t=9249
So there are multi parties to blame it.

As I have already pointed out in this thread, and it looks like you took the info I posted and used it verbatim elsewhere. I don't mind but at least include a source link in the post just out of common courtesy.
With that said, others in this thread have pointed out that they have VRR turned off and it still happens, so I think we are dealing with possibly multiple issues here. It is hard to say what exactly is causing it.

I got a black screen today in Cyberpunk on 108 firmware. At this point I don't think it's going to be fixed.

What I don't understand is why one day I have multiple time black screen 10 or more in an hour and the next day just 1 and some days no black screen...
I let everything up at the maximum now 240Hz, HDR (Dolby Vision mode), VRR with HDMI cable and I got no issues for 2 days and last week was almost not possible to watch a movie or to play... It's really frustating

This problem is getting super annoying! I can easily replicate the black screen with audio problem with Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on PC, with max settings and at 4K with 14900K/4090 FE!
