PG32UCDM bios MCM108 broke KVM for me

Repost from: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-monitors/pg32ucdm-bios-mcm108-broke-kvm-for-me/m-p/1072639#M504...

I have a work laptop hooked up to usb-c and my PC on displayport-1 w/ the usb uplink.

When I flip between systems, the one I'm selecting is usually in sleep mode. On firmware MCM105 it would change the USB with the display connection, so I could wake up the computer and it was perfect. Now when it switches because the video is blank it won't toggle the USB. I have to wake up either of the computers manually and then wait for the usb to re-connect for it to work.

If I try to turn auto-kvm off, the usb connection stays on which ever upstream USB I choose.

This was not the prior behavior. Unless I'm missing something this is a huge regression.

@Aureliannn_ROG I noticed you pinged https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-monitors/pg32ucdm-1-2-42-in-armoury-crate-broke-kvm/m-p/1112135... for feedback on the broken KVM.

I can help with any logs, behavior tests, videos, ect...

I can verify that I am on MCM108, and the MCM105 was much closer to my desired behavior.

ASUS released firmware MCM110 a few days ago. Have you tried updating it to see if it improves or even solves the problem?

I did just notice that. The only thing mentioned in the release notes was related to dolby vision, but I will load it up to check.

Sometimes the updates also contain bug fixes that are not explicitly mentioned.

That's true, and so I loaded it up just now.

In this case the behavior is unchanged. Manual mode does not work (previously it forced a connection) and Auto mode will not work after the display output sleeps.

Truly frustrating behavior. Anyone with KVM experience should know this is not how KVMs behave.
