PG32UCDM 1.2.42 in Armoury Crate broke KVM

bereavement
Level 8

Few days ago, Armoury Crated pushed an Device module update for PG32UCDM version 1.2.42

That broke the AutoKVM features.

I am connecting my MacBook Pro via USB-C (Alt DP mode with charging) and my GamingPC to the HDMI-1 port

PG32UCDM still on MCM105 firmware because the MCM108 firmware released on Jan,2025 broke the KVM and NEVER GOT FIXED!!!!!

Now the new device component module in Armoury Crate for PG32UCDM 1.2.42 also breaking the KVM function.

Whenever I put my gaming pc to sleep, change the monitor input to USB-C to use my MacBook Pro, the keyboard keystroke will send to my sleeping Gaming PC connected to HDMI-1!!!!

Which keep waking up my gaming PC even I put it in sleep mode.

PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP or let us rollback to the previous component version!

Hi @bereavement ,

Thank you for your detailed feedback regarding the KVM auto-switching issue on your PG32UCDM monitor. We understand that after updating to Armoury Crate Device Module version 1.2.42, when your desktop enters sleep mode and you switch the signal source to your laptop, keyboard input is still being sent to the sleeping desktop, causing it to wake up unexpectedly.

To assist us with further analysis, please kindly check the following:

  1. Confirm the monitor firmware version and ensure Armoury Crate has the latest device module installed.
  2. Temporarily try disabling the “Auto Switch” function and manually switch KVM to see if it prevents the wake-up issue.
  3. Does this issue only occur with specific firmware versions? If you restore the monitor to factory settings, does the problem remain?

Additionally, please provide the following information so we can forward it to our technical team for further investigation:

  • Full firmware version of the monitor (e.g., MCM108 / MCM110)
  • Screenshot of Armoury Crate software version and device module version
  • A short MP4 video clip demonstrating the issue (e.g., desktop goes to sleep → switch to laptop → keyboard input still triggers the desktop)
  • Monitor serial number (S/N)
  • Desktop model / Laptop model / BIOS / OS version / Cable types used

Once we receive the above information, we will escalate it to our technical team and update you as soon as further findings are available.

Thank you for your cooperation.
