Hello,
When I go to turn the computer on in the morning, I can hear a chirping sound coming from the monitor. I can only assume it has been doing it for half the night. (the cadence is like the clicking from a low speed, but instead chirping.)
Turning the computer back on makes it go away after the monitor makes it's 'switch click' sound. Additionally, the sound stops after unplugging the monitor power cable (which also makes the 'switch click' sound.
This would probably be the worst way for a monitor to fail - with the computer turned off!
Current Setup is using the supplied DP2.1 cable into a 5090 MSI Suprim Liquid using 572.70 drivers. Win 11 - 10.0.26100 Build 26100.

1. It is from the monitor itself. I currently unplug the power cord at night so that it doesn't chirp.
2. The computer was moved from the back bedroom to the living room. The monitor still chirps.
3. When the computer is powered off and the chirping begins - I can unplug the DP2.1 cable and the chirping will stop as if the monitor was just turned off. However, after some time has passed the chirping will continue unless I unplug the power cord. If I had to guess, the monitor is not in the correct powered down state and is searching for a signal. It cannot find what it is looking for, so it is emitting a faint alarm sound.
