Hello,
I am using a ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM model monitor. After going into standby mode, the aura lighting and motion lights remain on.
FW version: MCM105
From what I've read, in older FW versions, there was an issue where the lights remained off after the device woke up from sleep mode.
So, are you limiting the basic features of this $1,100 monitor by patching the software? It is unacceptable that only the monitor's lights remain on when the entire system enters sleep mode.
What does Asus plan to do about this? Are you producing a defective model and scamming users by refusing to acknowledge it? Or have you realized this is a software issue but lack the ability to fix it?

We’re very sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue. To help us investigate further, could you please confirm the following:
In addition, please send me the product serial number of your monitor via private message so we can proceed with further checks.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi,
1. I don't know about the other versions. I'm currently using version 105 and experiencing this issue.
2.Video is not necessary. I am using aura rgb and light in motion on. When the device goes into sleep mode, both the backlight and the light on the stand continue to stay on even though the screen turns off.
3. I'm not using Armoury Crate. On the monitor's OSD menu: Aura RGB = Rainbow, Light In Motion = Level1
I sent you a pm.

Hi, I had this issue on 105, and it’s also still the case on 107. I’m not sure what your wanting me to video, basically the light that hands underneath the monitor, stays on when I turn my pc off. I have light in motion and all other rgb/light settings in the monitor OSD turned off. The funny thing is the light stays off when my pc/monitor is turned on, but as soon as I turn the pc off the light comes on and it’s so annoying.
please can you send this to whatever team needs to be aware so they can fix it in the next update. It’s so annoying, I paid over £1000 for this monitor and you would expect something simple like this to work.
thanks

I had to mess with the settings for a bit but if you set it to power save mode and then uncheck power indicator it seems to work. The annoying chin light is finally off but I'ma have to swap back and forth from power save mode until they roll out a firmware fix later on.

I also have this monitor, upgraded to ASUS_PG27UCDM_MCM107.
I don't particularly like the power saving mode as it turns out the bottom and rear lights and everything seems dimmer even if I set the same brightness and lots of stuff gets disabled in the menu. Aura Sync standalone doesn't run, haven't tried it as part of Armoury Crate yet. So control the lights from the OSD. I would have expected the lights to turn off with PC power off but they stay lit unless I turn off the monitor with the physical buttons. I guess they meant it as a lamp too? 😄 I kinda like the lights for now but perhaps it's the novelty factor and will turn them off eventually much like it seems everyone else does. I also notice a power switch click inside after it's been "off" for while. Could it be that it's "just" signaling that there was the pixel cleaning all along that is going on after the PC turns off? It goes on for a few minutes and the lights merely indicate that it's still doing something, then they'll be off after that? Will experiment/observe.
