PG27UCDM KVM auto detection flaw

There is a flaw in the way KVM auto detection currently works on the PG27UCDM. The feature is supposed to automatically switch the KVM upstream port based on the input but it only switches the KVM after it gets a video signal. This creates a chicken and egg problem when I want to wake up a computer that isn't outputting a video. The computer isn't outputting video, so the KVM doesn't switch to it, so I can't use the mouse/KB through the KVM to wake it up and make it output video!

The KVM should switch based on the selected input even if there is no signal. Please fix this with a firmware update.

My monitor settings are
KVM auto detection on
Auto input detection off
KVM set to USB-B for Displayport and USB-C for HDMI1
