Hello, purchased my unit in August, as a present for my daughter, and after a months or so of usage, she reported weird artifacts in the grey colors - interestingly enough, it appears in a dragged window, and only in certain colors. Pixel cleaning removes the issue, but it appears really fast, after a few hours of use.
I own multiple different OLED panel - LG C1, and an oled laptop from Lenovo, and no OLED panel ever exhibited these problems.
The Czech shop called alza.cz refused to RMA the product, saying it's "normal behavior in OLED displays", which is total BS, but they keep repeating that. Is it possible to ask ASUS directly if they would RMA this unit?
It was quite expensive, and it performs worse than old LCD panels in this state, I feel cheated out of my money.

Hi @Kamamura ,
based on your issue, could you let me know if the image retention issue occurs shortly after you perform the pixel refresh?
Did this problem occur right after you purchased the monitor?
If a static, high-contrast image is displayed for an extended period, OLED displays may exhibit image retention, burn-in, or aging.

Additionally, could you provide the product serial number in a private message to me? Thank you.

Hello, the pixel refresh clears the problem.
However, the image quality is very unstable - even after few hours of using the monitor, the shadows of previously opened windows and even the monitor OSD start to appear. I have a LG C1 TV I use as computer monitor, and also Yoga Lenovo Oled laptop I work on every day for hours, and also Samsung Galaxy S7+ tablet, and none of these panels exhibit similar problems.
When I tried to RMA the unit, the Czech Asus RMA center stated that they "switched on the display, did some tests, and that everything is in order", and the seller just quoted him, and there seems nothing to do. I paid 1000 Euro for a present for my daughter, and am left with a badly functioning display and feelings of regrets.
So tell me, at least - how does the Pixel Cleaning function works? Is the user supposed to run it every six hours or so? The Pixel Cleaning on my LG C1 runs one a year (the long cycle), and after extended use on switching the unit off (the short cycle). I have been using it for two years, hassle-free, without any interference from me as a user.

Hi @Kamamura ,
based on your response, could you clarify if, after sending the monitor for repair, the service center conducted only a few tests and then explained the problem resolution to you?
Did you encounter the same issue after the repair?
Could you please provide the product serial number and RMA number via private message to me?
We will verify this for you. Thank you.
