Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with Dolby Vision on my PG32UCDM. The monitor works perfectly with Dolby Vision when connected to my laptop or Fire TV Stick, but it doesn’t work when connected to my PC.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics drivers using DDU.
Reinstalled both the Dolby Access app and the HEVC Video Extension.
Updated the monitor’s firmware to the latest version.
Selected Dolby Vision in the monitor’s OSD settings.
However, even though I’ve selected Dolby Vision in the OSD, only HDR10 is displayed. Additionally, the Dolby Vision menu option is grayed out, so I cannot make any adjustments there.
Is there something I might be missing or any additional steps I should try?

Hi @Aureliannn_ROG ,
The HEVC Video Extensions and the Dolby Access App are installed and up to date.
HDR is on and working, screenshot is attached.
There are no power options that restrict HDR or DV.
My PC is self-built:
ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero with an AMD 5800X and a ASUS ROG STRIX RTX3080 10G.
BIOS is on the latest version.
Nvidia Driver 566.14 is installed, removed the old driver with DDU.

I'm having the exact same issue. When I set the HDR mode to Dolby Vision in the OSD the monitor stays in HDR10. The Dolby Vision settings are also grayed out. Could it be a Windows 10/11 thing? I'm on Windows 10.

Same problem, Dolby Vision has stopped working, the white logo does not appear in the upper right corner and the menu options are also greyed out. I think it must be a Windows or driver update, because until recently it worked without problems. I asked a friend with the same monitor to try it, and the same thing happened, Dolby Vision has stopped working for him. Let's see if we can find a solution.
Tuesday
How I got my Dolby Vision to work on Windows 10 with Windows Films & TV App.
I am not sure which of the steps is really needed to get it working, but I think there are 2 that people might not have set right.
After searching online for a solution and reading this page "https://www.asus.com/nz/support/faq/1053978/ " again.
I am on the MCM108 FW connecting the monitor to the GPU via the Display Port they provided.
The step with the * in front might be what you need to try to do first.
1. I uninstall and install the following.
2. Once that's done, open Dolby Access, in the Home section, enable Dolby Vision, and it will probably download Dolby Vision Extensions.
3. In the Nvidia Control Panel, I put the PG32UCDM as the ONLY monitor to display.
*4. From the Asus site link above in one of the pictures where they have their Dolby Vision working, they only use a 60hz refresh rate. So I put my PG32UCDM to 60hz.
5. I went to the monitor OSD>System Setup>USB Set up> KVM and put it on Auto KVM Detection.
*6. Still in the OSD>System Setup> DSC Support - Turn this one to "OFF"
The Monitor will flicker for a bit and then the Dolby Vision Setting and it's now show Dolby Vision on the top right of the OSD.
I enable my other monitor back on in the Nvidia Control Panel and I can see that for the PG32UCDM refresh rate, I can only put it up to 120hz.
When I use the Film & TV app, the Dolby Vision tag is showing when playing Dolby Vision content.
