PC32UCDM DisplayWidget FW

I've encountered an issue / Bug with version 1.0.8.0 of DisplayWidget Center. Basically, when looking under the User Center it says there is an update for the PG32UCDM of MCM109. When downloading this update and opening the directory, it shows that the OneKeyUpdate FW is for the PG34WCDM, and the USBFlashDriveUpdate is for the PG27AQM.

I have the same Issue with the DisplayWidget Center on my PG32UCDM. I opend a ticket by ASUS-Support yesterday, but I didn't hear anything from them. On the Supportside ot the Monitor is nothing new Firmwareupdate. I hope they fix it in the near future.

@Aureliannn_ROG, are there expected to be any upcoming FW updates for the PG32UCDM? I'd really love to see something in regards to controlling the color when HDR is on, as well as something to help with VRR Flicker.

After careful investigation by our team, we have confirmed that the firmware notification you received was for internal testing purposes and is not an official release. This was a DWC SW notification test, which you can safely ignore.

To prevent similar misunderstandings in the future, we will have the team take down this test version.

That notification in DisplayWidget Center on MCM109 is like sophisticated and refined form of mockery for PG32UCDM owners who are waiting for an update without any feedbck since summer.

@Aureliannn_ROG, I just updated to the latest MCM108, and now it seems like DisplayWidget doesn't interact appropriately with the monitor. I'm unable to change the GameVisual settings from within the software.

  • What exactly happens when you try to adjust the game visual settings? Is the software unresponsive, are the settings not saving, or are you experiencing other issues?
  • Have you tried reinstalling the DisplayWidget software? Sometimes, reinstalling the software can resolve software conflicts or installation errors.

All the options are greyed out when trying to modify the color / profile when using HDR.
