OLED XG27AQDMG - problem occurs- when TV is connected to the PC in addition to the monitor.

First:
I've discovered that the Asus monitor is a selfish egoist! Just like Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

It always wants to be recognized first(!), and if that isn't the case, it gets super pissed and refuses to be recognized from my PC. And in that case, it has no desire at all to work with the asus display widget!

The banal and only solution is then to either disconnect the HDMI connection from the TV or to cut off its power supply and then re-establish these connections. If it is done this way, it then will demote the TV to number 2 in the PC's detection list and all is working.

The only halfway convenient solution I can think of now is to either add an HDMI switcher to the TV between the HDMI cable and the HDMI input on the PC , or to only supply the TV with power when needed via a wireless remote / socket.

Second:
I also don't understand why you can't just deactivate the whole function of automatic pixel refresh when the device is going into standby mode! The Owner should be able to decide for him / herself under what circumstances the pixel refresh is executed.

Hi @Bertie ,

we apologize for the delayed response due to the holiday period. Thank you for your patience.

Regarding the issue you reported, we would like to further confirm the following:

  1. In the Windows display settings, please try adjusting the display arrangement and check if you have set the XG27AQDMG as the primary display.
  2. If you are using an NVIDIA graphics card, please adjust the multi-display settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel to ensure proper configuration.
  3. In the Windows display settings, check for any HDMI-CEC related options and ensure that they are not causing conflicts.
  4. Does the issue persist regardless of whether the Auto KVM function is enabled or disabled on the monitor?
  5. Did this issue occur right after purchasing the monitor, or did it only appear with a specific firmware version?
  6. Regarding the pixel cleaning function, you can manually perform a pixel cleaning by navigating to: Monitor OSD > System Setup > Screen Protection > Pixel Cleaning.

Please help verify the above points so we can further analyze the issue and provide appropriate suggestions.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Please note that response times may be delayed due to upcoming regional holidays. For urgent inquiries, please contact your local service center. Thank you for your patience.

1. XG27AQDMG is the primary display

2. the nvidia control panel configuration is proper

3. cec causes no problems

4. auto kvm function is disabled. i don´t wanna use auto kvm function.

5. Problem first occur right after purchasing the monitor. After download and install of firmware mcm104: problem persist.

6. I know that since middle of december. Best solution for me woud be: a option that deactivate all that automatic pixel cleaning behavior. I know that i can deactivate this behavior by switching the monitor to power saving mode. But for me that is a half-baked and complicated solution.
