So I was doing a little cable management last night and I noticed that my laptop's power cord was only rated for 125V 10A, when my country's power sockets are rated for 220V. While nothing has happened over the past two years I've had the laptop, I am worried long term regarding keeping on using this as this "might" not be safe long term.
This made me check the new monitor I ordered and received last week (TUF VG259Q) and I saw that it also came with 125V cord, which makes me worry about it because that one has an internal power supply unit.
My country (PH) is a place where we have the US style plugs, but have 220V, so I am wondering if maybe the distributors ordered US plugs but didn't take into account that we have different voltages.
