Help connect ASUS ROG PG32UCDM

t4auro

Hi, I currently use 2 ASUS ROG PG32UCDM monitors and bought another one.

When trying to connect it, I had to buy another display port 1.4 cable from amazon since the original cable isn’t long enough. The problem is, when I turn on the monitor it says “Display port NO SIGNAL” and then suddenly turns off.

Windows does detect the monitor and can tell the info about it.

I have tried to connect the other monitors with the cable I bought in case the cable was the problem but they do work.

I don’t think it’s a firmware issue since the other two monitors are the same and are working atm.

My motherboard is an ASUS ROG DARK HERO Z790 and my GPU is MSI 4090 GAMING X TRIO
CPU is i9-14900k

Hi @t4auro ,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

To better assist you with this issue, we would like you to confirm the following:

  1. Display input source: Please ensure that you have manually switched the input source of the display to DisplayPort via the OSD menu.
  2. Multiple display testing: We suggest you try connecting the third monitor to a different DisplayPort port on your graphics card to see if the issue occurs on other ports.
  3. Adjust display settings: You can try turning off G-SYNC and lowering the resolution and refresh rate of the display to see if the problem improves.
  4. Update graphics card driver: Please ensure that you have the latest graphics card driver installed.
  5. Graphics card support: Please confirm that your graphics card supports driving three monitors simultaneously.
  6. Individual testing: We suggest you connect each monitor to the graphics card individually to see if the problem persists.
  7. DSC setting: You can try enabling the DSC feature on only one monitor and see if the problem still occurs.

Providing this information will help us analyze the problem more in-depth. Thank you.
