HDR Issues

Ceawyr

I am experiencing an issue with my ASUS PG32UCDM monitor related to HDR and Dolby Vision performance. When enabling HDR or Dolby Vision, the display appears significantly washed out, with a noticeable grayied tint that affects the overall image quality.

I have already attempted multiple solutions, including:

  • Performing a full reset of the monitor settings.
  • Updating to the latest firmware available. (now it's MCM108)
  • Using different HDR modes (such as DisplayHDR 400 True Black).
  • Calibrating the display using Windows HDR calibration tools.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and the colors remain dull and lifeless, which significantly impacts the viewing experience.

I kindly request your assistance in addressing this issue, as it seems to be a persistent problem among users of this model. If there are any recommended settings or upcoming firmware updates to resolve this, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Of course i have already did every update on Windows/ and GPU(7800XT).

Thank you for your time and support.

Are you viewing HDR content while HDR mode is turned on?
If you turn on HDR mode while viewing SDR content (desktop, web browsing, email, etc), it will looked washed out.
