Hi @Abuzar ,

Thank you for contacting us and reporting the severe banding issue you're experiencing with your XG27AQDMG monitor in both HDR and SDR modes. To help us identify the source of the problem more quickly, we would appreciate it if you could provide the following information:

  1. Application or Image Source when Issue Occurs: Please specify what application you were using, what game you were playing, or what video content you were displaying when the banding issue appeared.
  2. Monitor Firmware Version: Please provide the current firmware version of your monitor.
  3. Banding Occurrence Scenario: Does the banding issue only appear in darker scenes or areas?
  4. Cross-testing Display Cables: Have you tried cross-testing with different display cables (e.g., using another DisplayPort or HDMI cable)? Does this affect the results of the issue?

Please help us confirm the above information. Thank you!

Hopefully Asus starts to recognized this  problem with XG27AQDMG, mine alao have the same problem, I test it with VRR on(G-Sync), 40 Brightness, SDR,VRR On with capped 60 fps on The Last of Us part 2 PC loading screen. When set to 180Hz,the problem reduced for a bit, looks pretty obvious at 240Hz. Im also insert the picture here(although at 180Hz the camera photo make it less apparent while in reality its still there but less obvious)  , hopefully helped asus team to acknowledge and fix the problem because from the forum here other model also have the similar problem
