What is the correct process for this.
i read more than 1 person has managed to brick their device doing it. I would appreciate some advice from those who have done it successfully, and those who managed to brick them.
Can you update from any fw version to another - or do you have to do it sequentially?
Do you have to do it from the same machine the monitor is plugged in to?
Is it recommended to factory reset the monitor beforehand?

Hi @Mardoxx ,
Regarding the firmware update steps, once you download the update file from the official website, it will include the FW update SOP and FW update tool.
You can follow the SOP steps to perform the firmware update.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you.

Thanks, I am aware of the procedure but people have bricked their monitors with it still

I only read about one person who bricked it, but they used the firmware from the different model. Otherwise the procedure is quite safe, but don't do it during a storm when there is a risk of a blackout.
