To the ASUS Product Development Team,
As a long-time ASUS and ROG supporter, I’m reaching out with direct product feedback and a request I hope can reach your display division.
I’ve been actively searching for a monitor that delivers what many in the performance PC community would consider the current “ideal spec combo”:
32” screen size (non-ultrawide)
2560x1440 (QHD) resolution
Native 240Hz refresh rate
IPS panel
FreeSync Premium Pro (not just Premium)
HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort
Despite ASUS leading the industry in quality displays, there is currently no panel in your lineup that combines all of these specs in one product. Options like the XG309CM miss the mark due to ultrawide format, overclocked refresh, or lack of FSPP certification. And while I’ve seen some brands attempt it (AORUS FI32Q-X, for example), the quality and reliability aren’t in the same league.
This panel would directly serve users like me who already rely on ASUS hardware across their entire stack — users who prefer IPS over OLED, QHD over unnecessary 4K, and stability over hype. We know exactly what we’re looking for, and we're not seeing it offered by anyone — yet.
Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift PG279QM – 27" 1440p 240Hz IPS (G-SYNC)
Motherboard: ROG STRIX B850-E GAMING WIFI
Keyboard: ROG Falchion Ace HFX
Mouse: ROG Spatha X
GPU: XFX MERC 310 RX 7900 XTX (Radeon)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32GB DDR5 6400MHz
Storage: Gen4 NVMe SSDs (Primary: 4TB)
This system is optimized for performance, stability, and visual clarity — and a 32" QHD 240Hz IPS panel with FreeSync Premium Pro would complete it. I’m not looking to chase trends like OLED or gimmicks like overclocked refresh. I’m looking for durable engineering and a screen built to last — and ASUS has always delivered on that front.
If such a panel is in development, I’ll wait. If not, I hope this message adds weight to future planning. There’s a clear gap in the market, and ASUS is the brand most trusted to fill it right.
Sincerely,
Loyal ASUS/ROG user, builder, and enthusiast
Would love to see this escalated to someone like @ASUS_ROG or @asus_rogjj (on Twitter/X) if they’re listening.
