Cannot submit Repair Request

Hello,

I am trying to submit a repair request for a faulty monitor I received (PG27AQDM). I am trying to use the form here: https://as-rma.asus.com/us/rma/form

Whenever I press "Submit", it loads for a minute then takes me to another Asus page that just says "500 internal server error". I would like to submit my request as soon as possible, please.

Hi @Martoblitz ,

based on your issue, do you want to apply for an online RMA? Have you tried using a different browser to see if the problem still occurs or try other WiFi to see whether the issue persist? Also, can you provide a screenshot of the "500 internal server error" screen when it appears?

Also, it is suggest that you try to submit the the RMA via below link. Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

Hello,

Yes I was trying that same link. It didn't work for 2 days, and then it worked, so I have submitted my repair request. However, I wanted to ask if I could get the shipping fee paid by from Asus. I just bought a new monitor and it is faulty. It does not feel good to spend $1000 dollars on a new monitor, have it arrived defective, and then be asked to cough up more money to get it shipped.

Would you be able to look into that for me? I would very much appreciate it.

Hi @Martoblitz ,

May I ask if your product is currently within the warranty period? Regarding the information you received about needing to pay the shipping fee, could you please provide a screenshot or specify where you obtained this information? Can you please provide your product's serial number in the private message section? How did you originally purchase the product? If it was through a retailer, have you contacted the retailer to clarify the issue?

Thank you.

Hi @Aureliannn_ROG,

Thanks for following up. My product is well within the warranty period (my purchase is only about 3 months old).

The information regarding needing to pay for the shipping fee was sent through e-mail:

The same information is confirmed in ASUS Online RMA Instructions.

I originally purchased the product through NewEgg.com. Their policy states that I must contact the manufacturer (ASUS) for replacement and technical issues:

Since the monitor seems to be defective, this seems appropriate. I have sent you my serial number through private message. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Martoblitz ,

since you made the purchase three months ago, in the US process, applying for an online RMA requires payment for the shipping label. However, as your product is still under warranty, the repair center will handle the repairs for you. Thank you.
