Bug Report: ASUS PG32UCDM - USB-C charging resets to 65W on Reboot.

The monitor PG32UCDM has an option to switch between USB-C charging modes of 65W and 90W. This is observed in 3 Scenarios.

Scenario 1 : Loading Custom Setting.

If I choose 90W as charging mode, and save it into custom setting 1. If I load back to custom setting 2 and back to custom Setting 1. Every setting is applied except the USB-C charging Mode. It resets back to 65W.

Scenario 2 : Restarting/Turning off Monitor.

If I turn off the monitor and turn it on back again, The USB-C Charging setting is switched back to 65W.

Scenario 3: After a Pixel Refresh

It is a pain staking task to keep switching it to 90W everytime. Also Dolby Vision mode doesn't have a brightness reduction option, The only workaround is to change USB-C Charging to 90W, which limits brightness to 65%.

I confirm OP's findings and am also of the opinion that the 90W charging setting should have precedence over the display's brightness not being limited when the signal is reset for whatever reason.

based on your question, can you please assist in recording a video of the issue occurring for our reference? 

(Please provide separate scenarios for 1/2/3 where after executing the scenario, the charging resets to 65W.) 

Is this issue present from the moment you purchased the device, or did it occur after a specific firmware update? 

Which firmware version are you currently using? 

What type of cable are you using to connect the monitor? Are you using the cable that came with the device?

1. I don't know about the first question, as soon as I purchased the monitor, I updated it to latest firmware and started playing with settings.

2. I'm on firmware 105

3. I'm using the cable from the box.

PS: During recording, I've noticed that, Only when I'm using HDR or Dolbyvision, The USB Charging setting is being reset on monitor restart. If I turn off HDR in windows settings and use SDR mode in the monitor, Then after restart the USB Charging setting stays the same.
