Hi I have an issue with my asus rog swift pg32ucdp when I shutdown my pc just as it goes black the below happens, I have changed the dp wire that the monitor came with, also the problem doesn't happen while I'm using the pc and it has done the pixel cleaning on every shutdown, I tried to see if it was my graphics driver causing the issues but it still persists so I'm wondering if I need to take the screen back and get it replaced any help would be great thank you

Hi @chris2930 ,

Thank you for providing the detailed information and test results.

Regarding the issue you reported with your ROG Swift PG32UCDP monitor showing colorful lines before the screen turns black upon shutdown, we recommend that you help confirm the following points:

  1. Has this problem always existed? Or does it only appear under a specific firmware version?
  2. Have you tried restoring the monitor to its factory settings? Does the problem still persist afterward?
  3. Does this issue occur every time you shut down?
  4. When you say "shutdown," do you mean shutting down the PC, or manually turning off the monitor?
  5. Please provide a video of the issue occurring for our reference, and ensure it's in MP4 file format. Additionally, please provide detailed information about your computer configuration, operating system (OS) version, driver version, and BIOS information.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Hi

  1. It has always existed, it was already on 106 when I brought the screen.
  2. I did reset the monitor to factory settings and it still persists
  3. Yes every time I shutdown
  4. When I shutdown the PC
  5. Windows 11 Home 64bit, version 23H2, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor 4.70 GHz, NVIDIA 5080 current update 576.80, 64gb ram, I'm not sure where to find bios information as I'm not tech savvy.

Thank you
