ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM - how to add to armoury crate

Dear ASUS community,

first I have seen this post:

https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-monitors/asus-rog-swift-oled-pg32ucdm-rog-light-located-on-back...

but I am still not able to resolve my issue. As soon as I select Aura Sync in the monitor menu the backlight stays off. Other options for illuminating it are working. I have updated the monitor firmware to the latest. The USB ports on the back of the monitor are working and the USB upstream port is properly connected.

My board is a ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II.

I have tried multiple USB ports at the back of my board all resulting in the same - no backlight working.

Any other advice for troubleshooting this?

Thanks,

Andre

Hello @Aureliannn_ROG ,

I fixed the issue now, but your post was not really contributing to the resolution being frank.

As you could see from my post FW is upgraded to latest as 105 was the latest when I made my post yesterday. I also added information about my mainboard. Whatever enough of the rant.

So what I recommend to do is the following:

Cheers,

Andre

Hi @DrGonzo272727 ,

Thank you for reporting the issue with Armoury Crate being unable to control Aura Sync.

We are pleased to inform you that we have fixed this issue in the latest firmware version 105.

To confirm if this resolves your problem, we recommend:

  • Update Firmware: Please check if your display firmware has been updated to the latest version 105. If not, please update it as soon as possible.
  • Factory Reset: If you have updated to the latest version, we recommend that you perform a factory reset on your display and then restart it. This will help rule out any temporary settings that may be causing the issue.

If the above methods do not resolve the issue, we recommend that you send your display to a nearby authorized service center, and our professional engineers will provide you with a more detailed inspection and repair.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.
