I got my ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQWMG and I'm loving it in general, but I'm having an issue where the screen will go black for 2 seconds maybe once or twice an hour. I'm using this cable, which has fantastic reviews so it shouldn't be that.
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas what the issue could be? I'm using a dual monitor setup with a DELL S2721DGFA.

Hey man, do you use DP 2.1 20G mode in OSD? Does these black screens happen when u change DP mode?
I am dealing with the same issue

I don't have a 2.1 option, the XG27AQWMG doesn't support it AFAIK. I haven't tried switching to 1.2. I'm starting to think it's something to do with the proximity sensor, as it's happening far less frequently since turning the distance to maximum, hopefully it's something a firmware update can fix if it is the case. It's not great spending nearly £600 on a monitor and having issues though, so hopefully ASUS can offer some sort of support.

Yep, this seems to be the case. I turned it off 2 days ago and haven't had any black screens. It's a great feature, so hopefully it can be fixed with a firmware update.
