ASUS PG32UCDM PROBLEM - doesn't wake-up with Windows Screen Sleep & Screen Off settings

I just use 5min timer for saving possible OLED burn-ins but the monitor doesn't wake up when PC screen stays in sleep or off.

The computer is not in sleep mode, it continues to work. Music etc. is playing in the background. However, since I do not touch the keyboard/mouse, the screen turns off after 5 minutes. The monitor LED turns orange. And even if I move the mouse/keyboard, the screen does not come on.

The only solution is to turn the screen off and on.

Is there any solution?

I have the same issue when connected via HDMI, but it works ok on DP

MCM 105 firmware, Win 11 24H2.

Yeah I also have the same issue, happened since I updated to 24H2. I'm on 105 btw

Aha, it was ok on 23H2, I've also noticed.

Glad to know it's not just me 🙂 Btw do you happen to be using the monitor's proximity sensor?

Nope, turned off 🤷‍. Don't need it, and I've read enough here on how it works)))

Ok cool, just wanted to make sure it wasn't part of the issue, since I do use it.
