I originally returned the monitor after having this exact issue. Got a replacement model, tested turning it off and on out of the box and it was fine, but after a few hours of usage I decided to try it again, and the power led lights up, but the screen does not and remains black.
The only way to fix it right now is to pull the power cable for a while (currently 25 sec is enough), re-insert it and then it boots normally by itself.
It seems unlikely to me that I got 2 "lemon" models back to back, so I want to rule out it's anything with my setup before I return this one too.
Anyone here who knows what could be causing this?

Some more problems:
- Tried pixel cleaning manually and it never finished. Kept blinking orange (i gave up after 10 min and went to bed)
- Brightness slider has no effect, 0 is the same as 100
This is the case on both monitors I picked up.

Furthermore, the issues described in this thread also apply to my monitor (both copies I've received)
