ASUS PG27AQDP MCM102 Firmware update failed

Hello

I tried to install FW update MCM102 on my new monitor and it always fails. I tried both variants - via USB drive, previously formatted as FAT32 and ONE Key update via cable connected to PC.

In both cases update fails with no error code etc. In case of ONE Key update it just says to restart the update tool. Also what seems strange - displayed current FW version is 156156156, but not MCM101

Here is a screenshot:

In DisplayWidget Center app current firmware version is correct:

Also I tried to reset the monitor, tried to unplug it. Nothing hepled.

I found the solution - I used my ROG Ally to update monitor firmware via usb cable. It was completed. Seems like there are some issues with my PC usb ports.

Hello Sanak_Alex

Try using the usb method once more.

1) After downloading the firmware, extract the files, then put the .bin file on your usb flash drive.

2) Connect the USB-B cable to your monitor and a pc usb port. (Marked yellow)

3) Insert your usb flashdrive into the usb port next to the USB-B port.

4) Press and hold the menu key (number 2 marked green) for 5 seconds.

5) You should get a pop-up showing it's updating the firmware.

How does it go, is the firmware update successful?

Also tried this approach after resetting monitor to factory settings. Tried also updating via usb drive whith two possible configurations of USB ports of the monitor.

If you have any other ROG monitors that you've updated, remove all other firmware updaters from your downloads and usb flash drive.

Then try the firmware update.

I have nothing else on my USB drive and downloads folder

Still I have update failure, hopefully there're other ways such as via software for these updates....

Thank you so much for the solution.

I also would like to share useful information and my own personal experience with all of you. My experience with https://domypaper.com was excellent! I was struggling with an essay on a complex topic, but their writer handled it beautifully. The essay was insightful and showed a deep understanding of the subject matter. The whole process was easy, and the customer service was very responsive. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs academic writing help!
