monitor issue, having an issue after using the ULMB2.0 + 540hz the monitor will white screen. Fantastic monitor aside from this severe issue…

note the issue is not with display port cable, as that display port cable was used to test another monitor and said monitor is fine.

Hello YvixMiHo

According to the manual, ULMB2.0 + 540Hz is with Displayport only.

Note that I am using display port cable as stated in initial post, the product comes with display port cable which I A-B tested with another monitor I own (neo g8) to eliminate the issue being the cable

Thank you

If you're setting 1920 x 1080 resolution with 540Hz refresh rate, check windows display settings is set to this as well as the Nvidia Control Panel.

Windows refresh rate, my monitor is 240Hz. Here you should be able to set the refresh rate.

Check Nvidia Control Panel as well.

If this doesn't help, have a look at this article.

I have included two photos, as you can see in both places it’s set to 540 hz, question is what/why is using 540hz + ULMB2 causing the monitor to white screen randomly.

Note that the issue isn’t 540hz not working, 540hz works fine, it’s 540+ULMB2 with pulse width 80-100 (these pulse widths seem to cause the issue to occur more frequently ) will cause the monitor to white screen.

Thank you

According to Nvidia, there is supposed to be a firmware update coming soon for the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP to enable ULMB2.

Checking the ASUS Support Center, I don't see a firmware update yet.

How old is that article in picture, based on the wording it’s as if the PG248QP hasn’t been released yet “another two monitors are releasing in the near future”. PG248QP has already been released by ASUS, they also have monitor driver update on support page for the product.

Yes, they have the monitor driver for the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP, but I don't see a firmware update.

If you take a look at the ROG Swift PG27AQN, there is a firmware update for it as listed in the picture.
