The ROG Carnyx is the first premium gaming microphone in recent years. The design and hardware clearly reflect an exciting new direction, with the software to provide complete control. We've received feedback from the community and promptly released optimizations and adjustments to ensure we deliver a product which meets expectations.
The new Carnyx firmware (version 0022) can be installed via Armoury Crate.
The update includes improvements in two key areas:
1. Adapting to more user scenarios: The latest update adds compensation for close-range or high-volume recording sessions which could lead to clipping. Adjustments to the gain were made to improve the audio quality in such scenarios, for seamless and consistent recordings.
2. Balanced Audio: We've fine-tuned the monitoring and microphone volume levels to achieve a better balance.
