Hi, I have seen one other post on the same issue that I am having but it is locked so im making a new thread.
Occasionally when playing games I have noticed that the side mouse buttons after clicking will remain in a clicked state as if its being held down. In the multiple instances I have noticed this happen, I can fully remove my thumb from the button and it will infinitely stay as if I am still holding it. I am using the mouse in wireless mode for the majority of the time but have noticed this happen when in wired mode a few times as well.
If I click the same side button again it will untrigger the hold and work normally again until the next time this happens. The screenshot below is the mapping im using for the 2 front most buttons on the side:
Just using changed those 2 to a random keyboard key, and have that keyboard key mapped to the same action in game. My only guess is if it could be because I have the same keyboard key mapped to both buttons? But Ideally I would like to have both mapped to the same so I can use whatever is comfortable in the moment when playing.
I have tried resetting the settings and trying to map it again, device is fully up to date, as well as armory crate, and as stated earlier, used the mouse in both wired and wireless mode.
Any suggestions?

Hello, please try performing a hardware reset on your mouse by:
1) Connect the cable to a pc usb port, let it disconnected from the mouse, but have it nearby.
2) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of the mouse to wired mode (with the mouse flipped over, push the switch upwards).
3) Press and hold down, left click, right click and scroll click for 5 seconds.
4) With the buttons held down, connect the cable and release the buttons.
5) You should see an update in Armoury Crate for your ROG Spatha after the reset.

Thanks!
So far I have not seen it happen again after the reset, however the issue is hard to recreate as its seemingly random.
But for now, I'd say this is working more consistently for me at the least.
