Hi there,

everything is in the title. When I use the mouse on wireless mode, there is this huge green LED glowing on the dock. I don't want it to be on all the time, I dont need the dock to tell me that I have still some battery left...How do you turn it off? Please don't tell me it's not possible...

Happy to help! It seems the driver uploaded something to the reciever itself, like it has an onboard memory, because it remained green when plugging into a different computer. Might be something else, but that's basically how it behaved.

I noticed on their own product page the dock is shown with a solid red LED, The dock and mouse are beautifully designed so props where props are due but the green LED is such an eye sore, Making it red would be so nice.

Yeah it's the same in my case, on the website the dock is only shown with red lighting. It was a surprising dissapointment when it changed color to green as soon as I installed the drivers, given it was initially red.

Guess one has to open it and solder the wires crossed so that green and red swap places to get this fixed. As of now there is at least rather low hopes for a software fix. If I ever get around to it I'll post about it here.

I'm not holding my breath for a software update to let us change 1 tiny light from Asus going by their past abysmal track record, This is the last Asus product I purchase as I'm sick of having to ask for extremely basic features and getting ignored.

For mice and keyboards from here on out it'll be Logitech and Ducky.
