I don't think that is only a scroll issue. This is more deeper than that as I see. My Keris Wireless was changed last year due to the same scroll well issue but I am facing the exact same problem with the new one after 8 months.
I opened the mouse and tore it down completely. When I checked the scroll with the encoder, both were turning okay, there was no problem with the movement.
But when I took out the base PCB, there were some dents on the PCB around to soldering areas. I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol with cotton swabs and re-assembled it. Then my scroll started to work normally.
In addition to this, when I put my ear to the mouse, there is some noise which is similar to a graphics card coil whine noise or some short circuit noise.
This product has a certain production line, possibly PCB quality issues or soldering quality issues.
You, EU, and US friends are more lucky then a customer like me from Turkiye. Sadly the customer service agents don't even understand me or don't care, they demand money for a product which is already defective...
Pls check yours and then discuss it together...
