Hello all. I bought a new ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint mice and everything works fine except correct lighting. I don't like to have a turned on RGB so I installed Armory Crate an turned off all RGB lighting. Also I have an Asus motherboard that supports Aura Async. So I turned it off in BIOS Settings and turned off Aura Async for mice in Armory Crate. But it seems that my mice doesn't want to save correct all settings. Directly after saving the settings I don't see any RGB lighting on mice except when I swith DPI profile - everything works as expected. But when I reboot my PC mice starts to glow green and keep doing it even when I booted into Windows and launched Armory Crate. Only when I switch DPI profile mice turns off all lights. But I think it's not correct behavior. I had a ROG Pugio II before it and when I turned off all lights it keeps be dark all time. But Gladius III Wireless AimPoint won't do that. Why is this happening? And how can I turn it off completely?

Hello 50RBEX
Check the Device Lighting page, you have Basic Effects turned off as well.
This is the Keris II Ace as an example.

Hello. Thanks for reply. Yes, I have this option turned off - not helped. Mice still glow green. Also I tried to turn this on, make static with full black color, so I dont see the lights. Or also I tried to turn on Aura Async, but in Aura Async option turn on option "Dark Mode" which should turn off everything. But in all cases it doesn't help. Every time when I just turn my PC on the mice starts glow with static green color. At least why green?

You're welcome
Do you have the cable connected? Being the scroll wheel is green, it could be the mouse showing it's fully charged.
If you have this option, set it to Device Lighting. If not, disregard.
As a work around, what if you turn the Basic Effects on and set the LED Brightness to 0%?

For second case, tried it - the same situation. For first case - I don't have such option for my mice in Armory Crate.

Also mice starts glow as green when I have already loaded windows and I just disconnected and connected it back. And it keeps glowing green, does't turn off lights. It seems that this light indicates charging. But I think it's incorrect behavior. If you turned all lights off - it shouldnt indicate charging. At least it was such in Pugio II - it still has all lights turned off even when you unplug/plug it, switch to other type of connection or profile.

Does the lighting turn off if you disconnect the charging cable?

Yes, it turns off when I disconnect the charging cable. But when I connect it back - it starts glowing green again. And it continues to glow green until I manually change the profile or DPI. But when I disconnect the cable my mouse doesn't work - it's logical, because there is no connection with PC. I tried to switch my connection from cable to 2.4 Wireless or Bluetooth - in this case, all works as expected without any lights. But when I plug my cable again, the mouse goes to cable mode, starts charging - and it again glows with a green color. And it keeps glowing, not turned off. For me, it looks like a bug/issue or incorrect behavior. It also can be reproduced on a PC without any Asus components that support Aura Async or without Armory Crate. It seems that when you just set any energy to mice and it starts charging - the mouse turns on the green light and doesn't turn it off. In my opinion, it's a bug and when you turn off all lights in Armory Crate and save it - mouse should turn off any lights even when it starts charging, lights can blink 1 time only when you change the profile or DPI.
