ROG CHAKRAM X/CHAKRAM X ORIGIN

Hi, I purchased this mouse a few months ago.  Out of all my ASUS products I have (I have several) I can not get this driver to update the firmware on even the most current version of the Armory Crate. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I figured out the problem.  I had it in the USB slot (wired) only.  You also need the dongle plugged in as well for wireless (make sure it's connected to wifi), after you confirmed it works wireless as well switch back to wired on the back of the mouse.  Then you can update the mouse.   Asus it would be great in the CRATE program to give that suggestion if it fails.  It only suggests it, only if you're using it wireless.  If you're wired only it does not tell you that information above.

First off I wasn't connected to wi-fi.  Only wired USB.  When both were connected I received the prompt.  When I wasn't connected to wi-fi I DID NOT GET THE PROMPT,  just a message that stated, don't mess around with the mouse while the firmware was being installed.

When a new firmware is to be installed, you should get a prompt requesting that you move the power switch to USB (wired more) and insert the RF 2.4GHz wireless receiver. It is likely that you skipped it. Please take a look next time and let us know if the prompt failed to pop up. Thanks.
