rog chakram not visible in armory crate

Hello I don't know when the mouse was updated, but now it does not display in armory, I uninstalled the driver and the application updated it, it does not display in wired/wireless. :mad:

Are there any other software that allows me to re-map the keys on ROG products? Armoury Crate is utterly subpar

Any Solutions? I have the same problem with my Chakram X Origin. When I try to select it in Armoury Crate I just got black screen (other devices works fine). I tried reseting it and removing from device manager but no luck.

Does the black screen have a spinning circle then give you an error code?

Do you get the black screen in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless mode?

So I looked carefully and it  does like this. The wheel is spinning, then for like split second I can see the tabs for lightning buttons etc and then it goes black screen.

I tested it on all three connections (cable, dongle and bluetooth)

I am not sure but with my Chakram previously I didnt have a pop up, but with Chakram X I got a pop up that was telleing something about the controller connection outside of steam. I just pressed not to show it again, maybe this one causes a problem?

It's normal for that message to show when you open the Chakram X device page, checking the box to not show again is fine.

Bluetooth has limited functionality and doesn't let you access Armoury Crate, so use wired mode for now.

Try resetting your ROG Chakram X, this is how I do it.

1) Connect the cable to a usb port on your pc, let it disconnected from your mouse.

2) Set the wireless switch on the bottom of your mouse to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

3) Press and hold down the left click, right click and scroll click buttons for 10 seconds.

4) With the buttons held down, connect the cable to your mouse.

5) Open Armoury Crate and update your ROG Chakram X.

To update your ROG Chakram X....

1) Let the cable connected to your mouse.

2) Let the switch on the bottom of the mouse set to wired mode.

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Do the updates in Armoury Crate.

If this doesn't work, open device manager. There will be two ROG Chakram X's, right click on both and click uninstall. Reboot and check Armoury Crate for updates.

If you're still not able to access the ROG Chakram X device page in Armoury Crate, I'll suggest to use the Armoury Crate uninstall tool and reinstall.

In the link below select your operating system, click "Show all" in blue, the Armoury Crate uninstall tool is the third download.

Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)

Once uninstalled, reboot your pc.

Install Armoury Crate version 3.2.9.1 (first download), then go to the update center and check for updates.
