Omni Receiver Detected as Harpe Ace Aimlab Edition

Greetings,

Today out of blue, I started facing mouse cursor teleporting all over the place from time to time, this is the first time I face it for a month or so, the only new thing that happened is me deciding to pair both my ROG 96 II Wireless and the Mouse both on the same omni receiver for some reason, I wish I didn't, anyway, I woke up today to work as always but the mouse teleporting issue happened, first thing I thought of is separating them on 2 dongles but one of the dongles stopped being detected as an omni receiver for some reason and only shows up as a Mouse not sure why as you can see here:

That's actually the dongle not the mouse, the mouse is off and not connected even via usb, I have been looking for a way to fix it and make sure the PC detects the dongle as an omni receiver but I couldn't find any help.

Please let me know anyone if you have faced this before or if you know a solution.
Thanks in advance.

After further testing, it seems like the one job the omni receiver has which is connecting 2 devices on the same dongle is the cause of the issue, talk about irony, so if someone knows how to revert the dongle to be detected as an omni receiver please let me know so I can fix it, thanks.

This is how the device manager detects the 2nd omni receiver, the faulty one let's say.

Hi @YutaChilling
Can you show what happens within Armoury Crate on the Device menu when you click on the one you believe to be the Omni?
The first thing to try would be to uninstall Armoury Crate (Right click the app on the start menu > Uninstall) and then reinstall.

Hello YutaChilling

Have you installed the ROG Omni Receiver firmware update?

If not, I would unpair it from the current ROG Omni Receiver, then connect your Harpe Ace to the Harpe Ace wireless dongle, then do the firmware update.

After this, you should be able to unpair it and pair it to any other ROG Omni Receiver.

There is a firmware update for the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless as well. Same thing, pair it with its own wireless dongle to do the update. - ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless | Gaming keyboards|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global (asus.com)
