If you are profile switching then that probably means you keep pressing the DPI button while you press the side buttons. You can learn more about how to use the Spatha X by checking the quick start guide.

Chakram X, the windows copy paste or a keyboard ctrl+c or v or a keyboard macro of ctrl+c or v assigned to a side button doesn't work on PC or Android devices where the ROG crate software is not installed.
Can the mouse button assignment work across all connected devices?
Also for some reason mouse on bluetooth mode simply stop responding for couple of mins and then starts responding. Could there be a fix for this as well?

A few people with bad (fused) fingers like me would definitely eye the chakram X mouse. I my case could I ask if it could fluently replace wasd with practice. And I wouldn't know just buy looking at the pictures and it's a pricey price of kit to me.
And because I procrastinate
i was thinking of a layout where the thumb can rest in a grooved up/down (X axis ) switch for e.g. left and right movement (or X axis movement on Excell/browser) With a third click button within it.
A bonus button for the tip of the thumb. (Would that distal click button follow the up down movement and click independently.. 🤔 maybe)
Then Infront of the mouse wheel, add a forward/back (y axis) stick (plus click). For possible forward/reverse movement (and scrolling in e.g. a spreadsheet, browser).
Maybe even change the shape of the mouse wheel (think tracks on a excavator). Lower profile with two smaller wheels on a track, which may also indipendantly click. And any caveate is made up for with the y axis "stick"
In my fried brain I think it would be more collaborative with the keyboard rather then a completely new learning curve and be a great productive companion for both gaming and productivity.
Basically a chakram mouse(but add ability to pair 2 bt pairing devices.
Hopefully that made sense, maybe it's a tried and failed concept. But thanks for your time to read.
Cheers from Shaun

Looks like it's already been suggested a few times, but I'll add my vote.
Having the ability to set any key possible to any peripheral in general would be a very nice feature, not even just the mouse.
I use F13 as a PTT key because I know for a fact that there is very unlikely ever to be any sort of complication with in-game key binds. Games like Arma and even MMORPG's all have a mass amount of key binds available for the user to set, as long as they've got the buttons for it.
I specifically switched from Logitech's G502 Hero with a similar button layout because the switches were sub-par and I wanted something that was easily fixable when/if the switches died out again, without needing to de-solder and re-solder new switches. Within Logitech's software, I'm able to set more than the standard keyboard buttons across all of my devices.
In Armory Crate, I'm stuck to only using the buttons I can push on my keyboard, and even more annoyingly I can only set multi-key presses by connecting my mouse directly to my PC instead of setting it wirelessly. I've tried Shift + F1-12, I've tried setting one of the G-Keys on my G910 keyboard to F13, I've used an elgato streamdeck, autohotkey and other software that have unrestricted access to any and all keys (whether lesser used or even commonly used such as mouse 4 and mouse 5) all to no avail.
While janky and not exactly how I'd like to control my mouse key binds on a $120 mouse, I've found that the two buttons on my ROG Spatha X left mouse button are considered mouse 1 and mouse 2. These can then be re-mapped as needed using a third party software such as reWASD, which allows me to set my on-board profiles with "mouse 1" and "mouse 2" disabled and re-mapped to which ever buttons I want those to be.

I just bought the Spatha X yesterday. I love the size and weight but am considering returning it because I cannot freely assign the side buttons. Please add this functionality. I don't understand why this isn't a thing already as it's pretty standard on every other mouse.

Sorry, I don't understand what functions you can't assign to the side buttons. What are you trying to assign?

Please don’t pretend You didn’t understand what he means by “freely assign”…

It's a rather ambiguous statement. Perhaps you can elaborate - what function isn't assignable that you feel should be?
