My Charam X will not go to sleep anymore. Issue just started yesterday. I have to turn it off manually every time or mouse will stay on all day/night. Have tried multiple things, and I am updated to on everything. Maybe dongle needs firmware update that wont show? Have version numbers below. Mouse is only a week old.
Things ive tried:
- Dongle in different USB port.
- Checking for updates on AC, Windows, etc.
-Tried different profiles on Chakram X in AC, also tried setting sleep timer to 1 Min with no change.
Device Version:22.02.17
Dongle Version: 1.00.16

Now that your ROG Chakram X is showing in device manager, I thought for sure reinstalling Armoury Crate would fix the sleep issue.
I'm starting to run out of ideas as to why your ROG Chakram X doesn't want to go to sleep.
1) Disconnect the cable.
2) Connect the wireless dongle to a motherboard usb port. (or use the optional usb extender)
3) Set the switch on the ROG Chakram X to 2.4GHz wireless mode.
4) Set the sleep timer to 1 minute.
In Armoury Crate, do you have access to all the ROG Chakram X pages and do they all look ok?
I'll post mine so you can check.
Buttons page
Performance page
Lighting page
Calibration page
Power page
Firmware update page

This is definitely on odd issue, its not that its a huge deal either, just would be nice for it to sleep for battery purposes. Yes my pages look the same.

There's nothing special you have to do to get your ROG Chakram X to go to sleep.
Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port, set to 2.4GHz wireless mode, set the sleep timer and that's it.
And since yours is still refusing to go to sleep after all we've done, I'm now thinking one of two things.
1) The sleep mechanism in your mouse is not functioning properly.
2) There is an unknown program conflicting with Armoury Crate causing your mouse to not go to sleep.
I don't like to suggest it, but as you mentioned, if you would want to reinstall windows and install Armoury Crate with no other programs installed, this would rule out any software conflict.

Okay, after fresh windows install and Armoury Crate install, sleep on mouse still does not work.

Thank you for trying,
At this point, I will have you contact ASUS Tech Support for further assistance.
They will likely want to do an RMA, have your serial number and proof of purchase on hand when calling, they will want these.
ASUS (U.S.) Tech Support phone numbers - 1-888-678-3688 or 1-571-918-6022
Let me know if they were able to get your ROG Chakram to sleep or had you return it.

Thank you for trying.
It seems we are unable to get sleep working with your ROG Chakram X. If a fresh windows install didn't fix it, nothing will.
So, at this point, I'm going to have you contact ASUS Tech Support for further assistance.
They will likely declare your mouse faulty and want to set up an RMA.

Thank you for all your help again Nate! I'll try and put in a good word for a raise!
Anyways, I received my mouse replacement today, and Chakram does go to sleep now. Must of been something wrong with the mouse itself.
Thanks again!

You're welcome,
Thank you for sticking with me and trying all the suggestions.
The fact it wasn't showing in device manager was another sign your ROG Chakram X was acting up.
Good to hear all is well and your new ROG Chakram X goes to sleep.
