What are these holes on the front plate of the keyboard?

ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless.

Just swapping out the switches today, and noticed two of these holes on the aluminum front plate. Pretty sure they aren't screws because screws are a lot more numerous and looked quite different. Anyone know what they are used for?

Hey Valour59

Mine has those too and there are more than just that one, there may be more than what I have marked in the picture.

They look like pegs that are on the bottom part of the keyboard to help keep the layers in line when assembling it.

Yeah there are two in total, the positions you circled corresponds exactly to my photos. OK thanks for letting me know they are just pegs, I thought maybe something to do with reset buttons XD

To reset your keyboard, press and hold the Fn + Esc keys.

All lights will start flashing red, when they flash green your keyboard is reset.
