The fn key no longer works. (Asus Strix Scope RX)

I can press all the multimedia keys as if the fn key is pressed permanently, but I can't use F5-F12. I have tried resetting from Armoury Crate and pressing Fn+Esc, but since fn doesn't work it's useless.
Is there anything I can do?

I have managed to "solve" the problem, to my own embarrassment the problem was that I had the fn and menu keycaps physically swapped. I tell this so that the next idiot who has the same issue will find the solution.

Hello Fataky

Try pressing Fn + the = key, this locks and unlocks the Fn key. You can see it says Fn Lock on the front of the key. An F should appear on the small led readout beside the Num key.

Does this get the Fn key working?

It does not work, I guess because the Fn key does not respond no matter what.
(It appears faded out on the keyboard in Armoury Crate).
*In case it is of any use, my keyboard has an ISO layout (Spanish).

It's normal for the Fn key to show that it's grayed out in Armoury Crate, it just means you can't change the function of the Fn key.

Have you tried adding the spanish keyboard layout in windows?

Yes, the keyboard has been working perfectly for three months until this morning. I can type perfectly in Spanish with accents and ñ, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Yes, swapping keys would cause a problem.

Good to hear you got it sorted.
